Meet Team Black Pines

In 2008 I started Black Pines because it was the best way for me to focus on the projects that I believed in—stunning and heartfelt custom homes, remodels and additions. I have meticulously cultivated a reputation for being honest, thorough, and consistent. I don’t consider a project a complete success unless it has been delivered on time and on budget, and I have a client who is willing to give a word-of-mouth recommendation to their family and friends. I value working closely with clients, my team of design professionals and sub contractors. I especially love creative and challenging projects. In the off hours I enjoy camping, fishing, reading, and even more, spending time with my wife and kids.

I worked in manufacturing for almost 30 years, achieving the positions of Director of Engineering and Maintenance, and Vice President of Construction. I retired to start a company specializing in the restoration and remodel of 19th century homes and commercial buildings. In 2013, after eight years in the business, my wife and I returned to Colorado to be close to our grandchildren and to provide project management support for Black Pines’ growing business.

We live in rural Loveland with our horses, cats and a dog, and our joy comes from watching our grandchildren climb trees, dig holes, do chores, and run around. While working everyday with family provides me with an extraordinary sense of satisfaction, a real pride comes from the spirit Jeff has instilled in Black Pines, that we will (to quote John Ruskin) “build such that our descendants will thanks us for it”.

Hi! I’m Victoria, design coordinator for Black Pines and wife to Jeff. My love for all things home and design began at a young age-I was constantly painting my room new colors and rearranging my furniture (sorry Mom). I believe that good design starts with a comprehensive understanding of our clients needs and expectations. My mission is to help create spaces that are both visually pleasing and resonate with the goals and aesthetic of our clients, while assisting them with the selections and finishes. I’m a Mother of two boys, I love all Nancy Meyer movies, road trips, and spending time with family and friends.
